Many changes for me too as I ride the waves of my first pregnancy, re-finding the dance as my body grows, surrendering to new needs of rest and nourishment and the joy of connecting with the new life within.

I feel very supported by the practice of the 5Rhythms, not only the physical movement of it but also the deep philosophy which is grounded within it. The value of trusting our body’s innate wisdom, the allowing our emotions to move through us, the surrender to life’s currents, the holding any experience with lightness and recognising the mystery at the centre of it all.

Waking in the STILLNESS of the morning, all is calm and slow, gentle water lapping on the beach below, quiet breeze promising another hot summer’s day. I luxuriate in this solitude for a while before going out to meet the day.

A morning chat then we wander down for a swim. The water is smooth and clear today, a languorous swim, such a great wake up for the body and FLOWING start to the day....

Someone had mentioned this class to me where you could go along and dance yourself silly with a whole bunch of other explorers. Being a non-dancing, really never ever, not me; sort of person, I was surprised that I felt this big pull to go along and check out the class. I was really nervous...
